Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Waste and Resources Consultant to step into a Senior or Principal role (also considering higher levels up to Associate Director level).
You’ll play a key part in succession planning for a long-standing client relationship, taking the reins and driving projects forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing environmental permit applications and technical bid responses
2. Advising on waste treatment, collections, andpliance
3. Supporting procurement and facility development projects
4. Contributing to waste and minerals planning and auditing
5. Project management, client management and business development
6. Mentor junior members of the team
Hybrid working is available, but office presence is preferred. Occasional UK travel may be required.
What you'll need to succeed
7. A degree in a related field
8. Proven experience with UK-based environmental permitting from a waste background
9. Solid understanding of environmental legislation including deposit for recovery, and landfill regulations
10. Excellent writtenmunication and report-writing skills
11. Ability to hit the ground running and work independently or as part of a team
12. CIWM Chartership (or working towards)
13. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with challenging stakeholders in the waste industry
14. Full UK driving licence
