Role: Commissioning Technician (Electrical Bias)\nLocation: Newcastle\nHours: Monday-Friday (37.5 Hours per week)\nHourly rate: Circa 50K + Overtime\nGPS are looking for experienced Electrical bias Commissioning Technician to Provide technical support to projects throughout the business and liaising between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.\nKey responsibilities:\nEnsuring vehicles and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured\nDiagnosing and fixing faults\nFunctional testing of equipment\nEnsuring test paperwork is correctly completed\nDemonstrating systems to customers\nAnswering technical queries\nContinuous improvement\nQA checks\nWork off site when required.\nTravel worldwide where required to work both on land and offshore\nKey Skills/Experience Required:\n· Previous experience working in a similar position\n· Relevant HNC qualification\n· Time served technician with fault finding experience\n· Control & Instrumentation experience\n· Basic mechanical & hydraulic knowledge\n· Basic PLC knowledge & experience\n&midd...
