Overview
We are looking for two kind, calm, and compassionate Personal Assistants to support a lovely young person who can sometimes display challenging behaviour. The role involves working as part of a 2:1 support team, helping him access the local community, encouraging his independence, and ensuring his safety at all times.
You will provide gentle prompts when needed, particularly around personal care, such as using the bathroom. Patience, empathy, and a good sense of humour are important qualities for this role.
He has a wide range of interests, including National Trust properties, history, airplanes, and cooking programmes. He also enjoys baking, as well as going on train and bus rides. A PA who shares or is happy to engage in these interests would be a great fit.
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this role, as driving will be part of the support provided.
