The Opportunity
My client, a growing retail/consumer-focused business, is seeking an experienced
Ecommerce Manager
to take ownership of their online sales channels and drive growth. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for strategy, day-to-day operations, and digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. You'll be mentoring a junior exec and reporting directly into the MD.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the company's ecommerce strategy to drive sales and growth.
* Manage day-to-day operations of online platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar).
* Optimise product listings, categories, and user journeys to improve conversion rates.
* Work closely with marketing to plan and deliver online campaigns, including email, paid ads, and social media.
* Analyse performance data, track KPIs, and implement improvements to maximise revenue.
* Oversee inventory, promotions, and pricing to ensure smooth online operations.
* Lead and mentor any ecommerce team members, including assistants or executives.
* Stay up to date with ecommerce trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
About You
* 3+ years' experience in ecommerce management or digital retail.
* Proven track record in driving online sales and implementing growth strategies.
* Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and SEO.
* Excellent organisational, project management, and leadership skills.
* Commercially minded and able to translate data into actionable strategies.
