Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential?

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of older children in kinship families?

About the role

In this dynamic role, you’ll work directly with young people, employers and partners to break down barriers, build confidence and create sustainable career pathways.

You will be providing tailored guidance, removing barriers, and championing their ambitions every step of the way. The role involves building strong partnerships with employers, training providers and key agencies such as the DWP, while coordinating and overseeing a skills and employability programme to ensure high levels of engagement and positive outcomes.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual with a strong commitment to supporting young people. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in employment support, training programmes or working with young people being desirable, alongside the ability to effectively manage caseloads and coordinate programmes.

If you are driven to make a real impact and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

The Kinship Zone

North East Lincolnshire is one of a small number of areas selected by the Department for Education to take part in a national Kinship Zone pilot for 3.5 years. This pilot forms part of the wider Kinship Care Strategy and aims to strengthen support for families, including kinship and improve stability for children by testing new approaches to financial and practical support.

If you are ready to support young people to achieve their aspirations and build brighter futures and to be part of something innovative, energising and genuinely impactful, this is your opportunity.
