You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams, managing the delivery of high-performance aerospace systems with precision, efficiency, and creativity.
Project Engineer Role Responsibilities
* Undertake design work in accordance with the parameters set out by the Lead Engineer, including analysis via hand calculations or Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 2D drawing, 3D CAD, Solidworks, DDM, PDM, and the production of reports/documentation.
* Conduct regular project and programme reviews, reporting to and updating key stakeholders and customers.
* Participate in or supervise the manufacture of prototypes and trials where physical testing of prototypes/samples is required.
* Maintain accurate, timely records of hours worked on each project.
* Participate in the initial design, estimating and review of assigned projects.
* Contribute to the production of KPIs and identification of root cause analysis.
Project Engineer Candidate Requirements
* Educational standard minimum HNC/HND and, preferably, degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* A minimum of two years of work experience in an engineering environment is essential; experience with FEA and CAD is desirable.
* Computer literacy is a must.
* Valid driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK and abroad.
Project Engineer Salary And Hours
* Up to £50,000 salary (depending on experience).
* 37.5 hours per week.
* Company bonus, matched pension.
