What you'll do
The role of a Customer Service Representative is to provide our customers with outstanding service by handling transactional or service requests and answering product queries. You will also educate customers about HSBC self-service devices and digital platforms, offering them flexible banking options.
We seek individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences, with a helpful personality. Previous experience is helpful but not essential; we value conversational skills and a genuine desire to go above and beyond for customers.

Responsibilities include:
* Providing face-to-face customer service in a busy branch environment, following policies and procedures
* Processing transactions accurately
* Educating customers on HSBC self-service and digital platforms
* Collaborating with team members to improve workflows and customer experience
Requirements for success:
* Excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to engage effectively
* Ownership of customer inquiries and delivering personalized, friendly service
* Resilience in a changing environment
Working hours:
Full-time, 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, and Saturday 09:00-13:30 (not all branches open on Saturday). Applicants on student visas must be able to work 35 hours/week. Support for other branches may be required, with expenses reimbursed.
Training:
8 days of in-branch training over 2 weeks, with full attendance required. No holidays during training.
Salary and benefits:
Starting salary of £24,000 for 35 hours/week, plus performance bonus, holidays, discounts, life assurance, benefits platform, sharesave scheme, and more.
