What You Will Do
The Artwork Operations Manager is responsible for driving end‑to‑end artwork operations for key brands/markets across Kenvue’s product portfolio. Responsibilities include managing artwork production flow, ensuring effective governance of process and data, tracking key performance metrics, implementing quality control requirements, and enforcing business objectives and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end‑to‑end artwork development process from initiation through approval and release, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality labeling components.
* Lead cross‑functional teams involving both internal functions and external suppliers/agencies.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and quality standards, while maintaining operational throughput to meet business needs.
* Drive process improvements related to artwork development, approval workflows, and digital tools.
* Utilize data analytics to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of initiatives.
* Investigate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as needed.
* Oversee design‑to‑press color management assessments and feasibility consultations.
* Monitor and maintain regional project timelines, risks, and costs; anticipate and resolve roadblocks.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance artwork operations.
* Lead efforts to enhance production flow and efficiency to meet company goals and business forecasts.
Required Qualifications
* Significant experience in label and artwork development, proofreading, coordination, packaging, and project management within consumer‑packaged goods or consumer health and pharmaceutical businesses.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross‑functional teams in a deadline‑driven environment.
* Hands‑on experience with PLM and artwork management systems (e.g., Esko Webcenter, Veraciti, Loftware, GLAMS).
* Familiarity with pre‑press and print processes (CMYK, Pantone, dielines, bleed).
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in implementing quality control processes and ensuring compliance with standards.
Desired Qualifications
* University or bachelor’s degree in business, design and graphics, printing and packaging, or a related field preferred.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements for product labeling and packaging.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
