About The Role: Assistant Pre‑Construction Project Manager – assists the pre‑construction team with multiple projects from bid stage to construction phase, working collaboratively under the senior manager.
Job Purpose: Assist with pre‑construction activities from bid stage to construction phase, managing projects to deliver on objectives while managing risk and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the management of the design, commercial and delivery teams from project bid stage to commencement of construction.
* Set out individual project deliverables and manage timelines.
* Handle technical specification requirements and coordinate with design teams.
* Act as point of contact for clients and their design teams.
* Manage supply‑chain stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and specification.
* Manage external consultants to ensure outputs align with design, specification and time‑line requirements.
* Lead handover meetings with delivery teams before commencement.
* Participate in BIM projects, facilitating collaboration between design disciplines.
* Carry out other project‑management duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Construction‑related degree level qualification.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Knowledge of writing construction programmes.
* Good communication skills.
