Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Research professional to oversee the management of research nurses and the delivery of clinical studies. The role involves team management, procedural compliance, development and implementation of study strategies, SOP development, and ensuring documentation aligns with study requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Line management of research nurses, including hiring and training new staff.
2. Ensure procedural compliance across all study activities.
3. Supervise, develop, and implement strategies for study delivery.
4. Improve, develop, and roll out SOPs.
5. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation per study protocols and ensure team adherence.
6. Promote and adhere to company SOPs, protocols, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Clinical research experience and knowledge.
2. Good understanding of Good Clinical Practice and experience in a clinical trial setting.
3. Valid Immediate Life Support certification.
4. Completed Immunisation and Vaccination training (DPC Healthcare providers).
5. Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to delegate and supervise effectively.
6. Competence in recording medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy, with willingness to learn new skills.
7. Proven ability to manage a team of clinical professionals and foster a productive work environment.
8. Flexibility, multitasking ability, leadership, and motivational skills.
9. Understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality.
10. Proficiency in IT skills, including Word and Excel.
11. Experience managing a nursing team workload, with at least 12 months within the UK healthcare structure.
12. Knowledge of clinical supervision and experience in delivering clinical training.
