My client is a growing landing gear MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) company based in Hayes, and we're looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to join their hydraulic workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical skills who wants to break into the aviation industry and build a long-term career in aviation engineering.
What We're Looking For:
Strong hand skills and mechanical aptitude
Experience using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely
Good attention to detail
A practical, can-do attitude
Reliability and willingness to learn
An engineering or aviation qualification is favourable, but it is not as important as practical ability and hands-on experience. If you're good with tools and want to move into aviation, we want to hear from you.
The Role
You will be working within our landing gear overhaul facility, supporting the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of aircraft hydraulic components.
Training will be provided.
Package:
£25,000 - £26,000 per year
Day shift (no nights)
Full training provided
Supportive team environment
Huge opportunity for progression within the business
Clear pathway into aviation engineering roles
This is a great chance to build a long-term career in the aviation sector with real progression opportunities.
If you're practical, hardworking, and ready to start your journey in aviation engineering, apply now or contact Callum Withey at Shorterm group for more information
