Highly regarded main-contractor are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their well-established team in Newcastle.
They have a healthy pipeline of work across the North East & Yorkshire, focusing on commercial new build, fitout and residential.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction/civil sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with site staff and implementing health & safety strategies
2. Reviewing and maintaining systems for the company and recommending improvements
3. Working alongside a close-knit team but also in a very autonomous role
4. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager
5. Assist with auditing and reviewing policies and procedures
6. Monthly reporting
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 4 years experience in a Health & Safety role
2. NEBOSH
3. Previous experience of working in the construction and/or civil sector
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Full UK drivers license
