Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Liverpool, working on multidisciplinary, innovative building projects. The role requires client focus, solid design experience, and knowledge of building services installations. You will manage your own work and conduct detailed design to required standards with the support of a regional team.
Job Responsibilities
* To take a key role representing AECOM on MEP projects, leading your own discipline and also managing engineers of a complementary discipline
* Able to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of your electrical discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role
* Complete detailed designs and support the work of others in this function
* Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents through the RIBA project stages
* Attend project and client meetings on behalf of AECOM
* Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced
* Have an ability to inspire confidence in team members and then use this to strengthen team relationships
* To mentor and assist with the development of junior engineers
* Manage your own time on projects to suit deadlines and complete your assigned tasks
* To have a strong interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools
Qualifications
* Being a qualified Engineer having a proven and demonstrable track record in electrical engineering
* Having a CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education
* To have achieved or be working towards IEng or CEng status
