AI / ML Manager
Consulting – GenAI, ML & Production AI Systems
ON Data Staffing is working with a specialist data consultancy to hire an AI / ML Manager.
This is a senior, hands-on consulting role, leading client engagements and delivering production-grade machine learning and AI solutions.
The Role
You will work directly with client stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable ML and AI solutions, owning projects end-to-end while leading small to mid-sized delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead machine learning and AI initiatives from problem definition to production
* Architect and deploy end-to-end ML and GenAI systems
* Provide technical leadership across delivery teams
* Build feature pipelines, model workflows, and deployment systems
* Manage client relationships and identify growth opportunities
* Mentor engineers and contribute to practice development
Requirements
* 5+ years deploying ML systems in production environments
* Experience across major cloud or data platforms
* Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI systems
* Strong stakeholder communication and consulting skills
* Experience leading projects or small technical teams
Nice to Have
* Prior consulting or professional services experience
* Deep expertise in GenAI and LLM performance optimisation
