Temporary Maintenance, Cleaning & Landscaping Technician (Part-Time) Location: Southport
Contract Duration: 1st April 2026 - 30th September 2026 Salary: £12.71 per hour Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-week schedule, 20 hours per week
1. Week 1: 2 days per week
2. Week 2: 3 days per week
3. Hours: 07:30 – 16:30

What You’ll Be Doing:
4. Cleaning and maintaining car park areas, including litter picking and emptying bins
5. Carrying out general site maintenance, minor repairs, and landscaping (gardening, weeding, basic DIY)
6. Setting up signs and cones for parking suspensions and temporary restrictions
7. Conducting routine maintenance on pay-and-display machines, reporting faults, and keeping them clean
8. Using and maintaining company equipment for daily tasks
9. Gritting entrances to car parks in cold weather
10. Assisting with any other reasonable tasks as requested
What We’re Looking For:
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, in all-weather condition
12. A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and cleaning tasks
13. Full UK driving licence
Preferred Experience & Skills:
14. Experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role
15. Basic DIY and gardening knowledge
16. Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH & Manual Handling
