The UNSW Canberra School of Humanities & Social Sciences develops minds that shape Australia, the region, and the international community. Our research is internationally recognised and explores global issues, including those relevant to Defence and Australia’s national security.
Accountabilities
The Lecturer in Indo-Pacific Studies will be committed to high-quality teaching and will contribute to the development and delivery of courses within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, particularly the Indo-Pacific Studies specialisation within the Bachelor of Arts program. The Lecturer will show interest and knowledge in current discipline-specific issues, and in student and industry engagement.

Our ideal candidate will have:
* a PhD in a discipline related to Indo-Pacific Studies
* a track record of high-quality scholarly research and publications and experience in seeking research funding, relative to opportunity
* the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and research
* a willingness to undertake effective administration relevant to the program, school and faculty
* the ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with students, colleagues and staff at all levels
