Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with our client a leader in logistics and distribution. Who currently have a requirement for Reach Forklift Drivers
Key Responsibilities:
1. Unpack and organize stock accurately as part of a fast-moving team.
2. Complete orders to the highest standard.
3. Unload deliveries and maintain stock accuracy.
4. Prepare wholesale orders for delivery in collaboration with the wholesale team.
5. Accurately pick and scan orders using RF guns.
6. Minimize missed sales and losses through accurate picking.
7. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring the general maintenance of the warehouse floor.
8. Adapt and remain flexible in approach to work.
9. Build and pack pick locations to ensure adequate product supply.
10. Communicate stock issues promptly to the Stock Department.
11. Achieve team targets and ensure procedures are followed.
12. Report any concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
13. Recommend measures to improve service quality and efficiency.
14. Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company H&S policy.
15. Act as a professional and courteous ambassador for the company at all times.
Essential Criteria:
16. Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
17. Hold or have held a Forklift License for Reach Truck within the last 3 years.
18. Experience working within a warehouse environment.
19. Experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse.
20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
21. Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
22. Strong planning and organizational skills.
23. Physical and manual dexterity.
24. Ability to work on own initiative.
25. Demonstrated application of continuous improvement techniques.
26. Results-oriented and able to perform well under pressure.
Desirable Criteria:
27. NVQ in Warehouse Management.
28. Experience using voice picking units.
29. Organized and efficient.
Circumstances:
30. Willingness to undertake training as required.
