The store provides the ultimate indulgent beauty experience and is the UK’s first, one-stop destination for all things beauty. On the first floor, we have our lavish Champagne and cocktail bar, the WOW Bar, offering an extensive Champagne and wine list as well as delicious cocktails.

About the role...
As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and department objectives through effective team management, ensuring the highest standards of customer service in line with Harvey Nichols Ways of Working.
* Manage your team proactively to deliver excellent customer service face-to-face and via telephone.
* Handle all customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating unresolved issues to the Store Manager.
* Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and increase revenue.
* Support team development, delegate tasks, and ensure staff gain experience and knowledge.
* Maintain a motivated team through regular reviews and adherence to capability, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
* Achieve financial aims, monitor margins, and improve GP contribution in line with budget.
* Identify business opportunities through promotional activities, in-store events, and seeking new business.
* Coordinate with the buying team to ensure stock is tailored to local customers, maximizing sell-through rates.
* Ensure compliance with stock management systems, minimize stock loss, and conduct stocktakes.
* Assist the General Manager in minimizing stock loss and maintaining building security, adhering to security procedures.
* Ensure team adherence to security, health and safety, and store policies to maintain a safe environment.
* Manage direct reports and department turnover.
* Support the Store Manager in managing the Cash Office, Security, Maintenance, and Stock Movement functions, ensuring controls are in place.
