Seasonal General Attendant required to work with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in the Downpatrick area. This is a temporary post required initially to cover April – June with the possibility of extension, working over a 4 day period including one weekend day. Hours of work – 20 hours per week on a shift pattern basis between 0830 and 2130 with a payrate of £13.63 per hour. Main duties: Instruct and supervise the public at all times ensuring safe and orderly usage and visitor satisfaction is maintained. To prevent unauthorised activities and comply with Management procedures and Council Bye-Laws. To collect and ensure the safety of monies in accordance with procedures, and to disseminate information and prepare and maintain records/reports. To report defects and undertake general maintenance, cleaning duties, security/safety checks and emergency action/repairs. What We Need From You 4 GCSE’s all grade C or above to include English and Maths. At least 1 years relevant experience in a customer facing role working with the public.
