IT and Digital in National Grid is building a new Center of Excellence (COE) for Transformation Change Management to provide centralized support across IT and Digital transformation efforts. The COE will establish and improve change management methodology based on industry standards and train stakeholders accordingly.
Transformation Change Managers, guided by the COE Lead, will coach Business Unit (BU) Change Managers in designing change management and culture strategies to promote adoption of digital initiatives. They will address complex implementation issues, ensuring best practices are followed to achieve desired business outcomes.
They will also leverage their expertise to create innovative approaches aligned with strategic goals, ensuring successful transformation adoption.
What you'll do
* Provide subject matter expertise to inform change management and culture initiatives.
* Partner with BU Change Managers to implement change strategies and support their efforts.
* Assist in training the organization on change management methodologies and embedding capabilities.
* Align change management efforts with ongoing culture initiatives, offering support and expertise.
* Advise on change communications to develop engaging messages and support transformation programs.
About you
* Experience designing and delivering change management strategies for large-scale or global transformations.
* Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
* Proven experience in developing organization-wide communications and strategies.
* Experience in creating and delivering training to diverse stakeholders.
* Strong client relationship skills in dynamic environments.
* Effective project management skills, including handling schedules, scope, issues, and risks.
* Strategic thinking to address organizational and behavioral challenges.
* Knowledge of leading change management practices.
* Ability to analyze data and measure outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
