Job Title: Deputy Care Home Manager Location: Coppull, Chorley (Full details to be shared during application stage) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day running of a well-established care home. This is a key leadership role, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and staff performance while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents. Key Responsibilities Support the Home Manager with the overall management of the care home Ensure high-quality person-centred care is delivered to all residents Supervise, support, and develop care staff Assist with staff rotas, training, and performance management Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies Support with care planning, risk assessments, and audits Handle safeguarding concerns appropriately and promptly Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Step in to manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager Requirements Previous experience in a Senior Care, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager role within a care home Strong leadership and staff management skills Good knowledge of CQC standards and regulations Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards) Excellent communication and organisational skills Compassionate and resident-focused approach What We Offer Opportunity to join a supportive and professional care environment Ongoing training and career development Support in progressing to senior management roles
