This role can be 100% remote. The exact working days and times can be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process. Ideally, candidates should be prepared to work on at least one of the more challenging days, such as Monday or Friday.
As a member of the Legal Team, you will provide high-quality legal services in the areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Law and Education Law.
1. Be a lead in providing high-quality legal services in Special Educational Needs law.
2. Maintain knowledge in Education law.
3. Undertake advocacy and represent clients in court.
4. Represent Legal Services, the Client, and external clients in meetings, including committee and member meetings, inquiries, working groups, and discussions with other legal practitioners as required.
5. Contribute to the development and delivery of legal services.
6. Exhibit behaviors aligned with the Client’s People Strategy.
7. Support the Principal Lawyer and Legal Services Business Partner in team management.
8. Handle sensitive issues with tact and confidentiality.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
