The Job Mission
* This role is critical to the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC works on a flagship nuclear site.
* You’ll manage construction teams and contractors to achieve programme milestones.
* The mission involves technical oversight, contractor management, and performance reporting.
* Lead day‑to‑day M&E works across multiple construction zones.
* Manage contractors and ensure progress aligns with delivery schedules.
* Supervise and support direct reports with guidance and performance oversight.
* Monitor programme progress and mitigate risk proactively.
* Drive high standards for safety, environment, and quality assurance.
* Lead coordination meetings with site teams and stakeholders.
* Support contractor mobilisation and site readiness reviews.
* Produce clear weekly/monthly performance updates and reports.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in mechanical and electrical construction delivery.
* Strong leadership and team supervision in complex environments.
* Proficient in site safety procedures and contractor coordination.
* Competent in progress reporting and risk mitigation.
* Holds a relevant engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Construction).
* SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH site safety certification.
Desired Skills
* Experience in regulated or high‑security infrastructure.
* Understanding of commissioning and handover stages.
* Familiar with digital construction and site reporting tools.
* Experience in nuclear or large energy sector projects.
* Basic French language skills.
