An established independent accountancy practice in Barnsley is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

Working with a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, you will be responsible for preparing accounts, supporting clients with their accounting requirements and building long term client relationships.
The role will include:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
* Accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships
* Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital requirements
* Liaising directly with clients and responding to day to day queries
* Working closely with senior staff and partners on client assignments
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice
* Experience preparing accounts for limited company clients
* Good communication and client relationship skills
* AAT qualified, ACCA studying or qualified by experience
* The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
The firm offers:
* Salary from c.£27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
* ACCA study support through an accredited training practice
* 28 days annual leave plus a weeks Christmas shutdown
