Goldhawk Associates are working with a construction firm in Rochester are on the lookout for a trusted Office and Accounts Manager to keep things running on a day to day basis. This is a varied role where you’ll be the go-to for both accounts and office support perfect for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and making a real difference day to day.
Duties:
1. Managing the day-to-day office admin (ordering supplies, calls, general organisation)
2. Ensuring certifications and insurances are up to date
3. H&S accreditations
4. Ordering stationary or anything needed for the office
5. Looking after invoicing, payments, and supplier statements
6. Chasing overdue payments and sorting any invoice queries
7. Handling CIS payments and making sure everything’s HMRC-compliant
8. Supporting the team with travel bookings, document prep and ad-hoc bits
Experience Required:
9. Accounting experience – ideally in a small business or construction firm
10. Knowledge of CIS would be ideal
11. Happy to work in a small office environment and most important have banter!
12. Confident using Excel and Word
13. Organised, proactive, and happy working independently
