Job Overview
Locum Consultant post for a 2 year fixed term – full time, Acute Medicine at Ipswich Hospital.
Applicants will have completed CCT or equivalent or be working towards CESR.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessment for all medical emergencies.
* Work closely with colleagues, allied health professionals and other departments within the EAU and other consultant colleagues.
* Develop acute assessment, triage and management of all patients in the EAU; classify patient needs with senior therapists and nurses.
* Liaise closely with the Emergency Department to facilitate ED Performance indicators.
Qualifications
Completed CCT or equivalent, or working towards CESR.
