As a member of our Strategic Weapons System, you may find yourself performing any of the following roles: Operating within our team to collectively deliver projects and programmes for our clients. Writing/reviewing technical reports, policy, programme/engineering governance and requirements documentation. Supporting Safety Assurance assessment / reviews or other safety case development projects within the nuclear weapon, conventional ordnance and platform safety domains. Acting as Project Manager on a range of client projects, from technical delivery to strategic advice and change management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Managing delivery of projects to time cost and quality whilst upholding our company values. Deliver reports, reviews and other deliverables that meet the client’s specified requirements. Attend client meetings Face-to-Face or virtually as specified in the project documentation and management arrangements. Be knowledgeable of our broader capabilities available to the client. Provide technical guidance and knowledge to the client appropriate to your grade and experience. Essential Requirements: Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders delivering the UK’s strategic deterrent. Understanding of System Safety Management requirements for Defence Systems. Desirable Requirements: Hold a recognised PM qualification e.g. APMQ. Understanding of design and operation of Trident Strategic Weapon System. Understanding of principle hazards and risks of SWS operations within the SSBN commission to commission lifecycle. Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Protection case development within the MOD’s Safety and Environmental Management Systems Understanding of requirements management processes and their implementation in Defence Goal Structured Notation (GSN) safety case development. Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
