We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic physiotherapist interested in developing their knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic paediatric physiotherapy. The post offers the opportunity to work exclusively within the musculoskeletal team and gain valuable experience of 9-month rotations within our specialist areas including; Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Burns, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Orthopaedic Inpatients (trauma and elective), Rheumatology, and Haemophilia.
The post holder will gain extensive experience and skills in assessing, treating, and managing a varied caseload of children with acute, chronic, and complex conditions. There will also be opportunities to actively participate in service development, team leadership, audit, and research.
Clinical supervision and teaching will be an integral part of the role.
In addition, you will participate in a comprehensive supportive in-service training programme and individual annual performance review scheme. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in the physiotherapy out of hours rota, dependent on experience, to support the needs of an evolving and exciting service.
