The Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Poultry Farm Manager based near Lincoln. This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for overseeing the daily management of a poultry unit, ensuring high standards of welfare, productivity, and biosecurity are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the poultry unit
2. Ensure high standards of bird welfare, health, and productivity
3. Monitor performance and maintain accurate farm records
4. Manage and support staff to ensure efficient operations
5. Uphold strict biosecurity and compliance standards
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in poultry or livestock management
* Strong knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity standards
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* The ability to lead and motivate a small team
* A proactive and responsible approach to daily farm operations
The Package:
* Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience
* Full-time position based near Lincoln
