Job Overview
The Highfield School is seeking to recruit an experienced IT Team Leader with dynamic problem-solving capacity and the ability to work without supervision. Scholars’ Education Trust foci include the use of Digital Technology in and out of the classroom and developing an innovative educational experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide second- and third-line IT support for staff and students, including:
* Line managing the onsite IT/Media Technician
* Managing the network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and software
* Ensuring that clients’ ICT support requests are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner
* Maintaining and developing the ICT infrastructure and systems
* Developing and supporting the school’s use of technology within the classroom, such as VR headsets and the 1-1 iPad scheme
* Advising on the strategic development of the IT service
* Ensuring the teaching and learning needs of the staff and leadership are met
