About The Role
Role: Senior Sous Chef, Hotel du Vin
Rate of Pay / Hours: £14.52 per hour (£16.52 including Tronc), Generous Company Benefits, Training & Development / 45 hours per week
Type of Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
As Senior Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers the brand standards in a smooth and consistent manner. You will develop and coach junior kitchen staff, maintain quality control, manage inventory, and collaborate closely with front‑of‑house to optimise service. Prior experience at this level is expected; you will also demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to innovate.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or equivalent in a reputable hotel or fine‑dining setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities
• Culinary knowledge and creativity across a variety of cuisines
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
