The role
As an Aircraft Inspector, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Aircraft Inspector is to ensure all aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to always meet or exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
* Supervise and carry out Flight-line operations in accordance with company procedures.
* Complete all aircraft and equipment maintenance documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
* Provide technical support to other LAFT sites as required, as well as being available for longer term detachments if required in support of Camps at Easter and Summer.
* Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson.
Essential experience of the Aircraft Inspector:
* Experience of handling aircraft in military or civilian CAA or EASA Pt environments.
* Supervisory experience in an aircraft engineering environment.
Qualifications for the Aircraft Inspector:
* Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) and DBS security clearance for this role.
