Senior Project Manager
Introduction:
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead the logistics, technical planning, resourcing, and quoting that underpin the delivery of world-class live events. You will be the operational heartbeat of each project, owning schedules, coordinating people and kit, shaping technical plans, and producing accurate quotes and cost trackers, while ensuring a seamless client experience from concept to on-site execution and close-out.

Role Overview:
As Senior Project Manager, you will plan and deliver complex live events end-to-end. Your focus will be on building robust operational plans (people, vehicles, equipment), translating creative and technical requirements into executable schedules, allocating resources, producing quotes and budgets, and maintaining rigorous cost and risk control. You will coordinate suppliers and venues, provide clear internal communications and updates, and deliver a calm, solutions-focused presence on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
· Quoting & Budget Control:
o Produce accurate equipment lists, technical quotes and purchase orders.
o Track costs pre, during and post-event.
o Reconcile job costs and deliver margin-aware decision making.
o Report variances and value-engineer where needed.
· Technical Design & Planning:
o Translate creative and technical intent across lighting, sound, power and AV, into actionable plans and documentation.
o Coordinate with Technical Production and other 21CC group companies where applicable.
o Oversee drawings, specs and method statements.
o Ensure Health & Safety, risk and compliance requirements are met.
· Supplier Management:
o Procure, negotiate and Quality Assure third-party suppliers.
o Ensure service levels, deliverables and SLAs are met.
o Manage notifications and permits as required.
· Resourcing:
o Source and schedule internal crew and trusted freelancers.
o Confirm roles, timings and briefings.
o Manage supplier allocations for equipment and services.
o Maintain accurate resourcing in CRM/PM tools.
· Logistics:
o Book vehicles, manage fleet and transport logistics and coordinate travel and accommodation.
o Ensure correct kit and people are in the right place at the right time.
· Client & Stakeholder Communication:
o Act as a confident point of contact for clients, venues and partners.
· Post-Event Reporting
o Complete cost reconciliations, debriefs and performance reports for events.
o Log improvements into templates and systems.
Your Expertise:
· Proven track record delivering large-scale live events with ownership of logistics, technical planning, resourcing and quoting.
· Strong technical knowledge across lighting, sound, video, staging and power.
· Advanced scheduling, budgeting and cost-tracking skills; comfortable with POs, reconciliations and margin management.
· Expertise in health & safety, RAMS and compliance for live event settings.
· Experience with fleet/vehicle booking and movement planning is advantageous.
· High level of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under time pressure.
· Fluent with production and planning tools (e.g., Vectorworks/AutoCAD) and with CRM/PM systems for resourcing and job records.
· Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence; confident leading meetings and issuing concise updates.

About the Role:
· This is a permanent, full-time position working primarily in 21CC Group with support across our other associated companies.
· You should be comfortable working across offices, venues and on-site environments.
· Weekend and evening work will be required during events.
· A valid UK Driving license and car are required.

Salary:
· £36,000 – £42,000 per year (depending on experience) for a 40 hour working week, however we’re open to considering a higher salary for exceptional candidates with significant experience.
