The Company:
Our client is a well-established, principal contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering high-quality restoration, refurbishment and conservation projects across London. With a turnover of circa £13m, they are a close-knit, collaborative firm operating from an open-plan office where communication, shared ideas, and teamwork are central to their success.
They are currently delivering major schemes such as The Savoy, Paddington Station, The Lancasters, and works at the Houses of Parliament, with projects ranging from £150k to £3m in value.

The Role:
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, management and successful delivery of multiple refurbishment and restoration projects across London. You will work closely with contracts managers, commercial management, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
The role will involve oversight of live projects, problem solving on technical and logistical issues, and ensuring best practice in project delivery. With the company aiming to grow its portfolio of larger-value projects (£2m£3m+), this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping its future.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage refurbishment and restoration projects (typically £150k£3m in value).
•Work alongside Contracts Managers to oversee planning, procurement, programming, quality and cost control.
•Coordinate and manage multiple trade packages including stonework, masonry, roofing, joinery and decorations.
•Carry out project appraisals, cost monitoring, and post-project analysis to ensure continual improvement.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and regulatory requirements.
•Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and ensure repeat business.
•Support the business' strategic shift towards larger-scale, higher-value projects.

About You:
•Proven experience delivering refurbishment, restoration or construction projects up to £3m.
•Strong knowledge of project planning, programming and cost management.
•Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively with in-house teams and specialist trades.
•Sound technical understanding across multiple packages (stonework, roofing, joinery, decorations).
