Responsibilities
* Implement and follow up the hotel’s preventive maintenance programme.
* Coordinate and implement regulatory procedures and audits (safety of people and property, etc.).
* Maintain customer relations and ensure guests’ privacy and comfort.
* Ensure fire security installations are in good working order.
* Run regular checks on technical equipment to prevent problems.
* Implement corrective action plans and prepare and track action plans instigated by the Safety Commission and audit authorities.
* Check application of water hygiene procedures.
* Advise the General Manager when specialist intervention is required.
* Ensure continual development of knowledge and safety of interventions.
* Manage and administer team management, follow‑up investment and maintenance budgets, and procurement.
* Handle relations with subcontractors and optimise energy consumption.
* Organise work for maintenance technicians and handymen.
* Respect Accor’s Legionnaires’ disease directive and hotel security regulations.
* Adhere to the Environment Charter (energy saving, recycling, waste sorting) and ISO regulations.
* Contribute to the safety of people and property (ensuring safety exits clear of obstruction).
* Organise and conduct security and fire prevention training for all staff.
Qualifications
* Vocational certificate or diploma in electronics or technical studies, or a degree in hotel maintenance.
* Minimum five years of experience in a similar field.
* Practical and theoretical skills in cold‑storage, air‑conditioning, building pathology, water processing and public building regulations.
* Knowledge of associated computer applications.
* Fluent in the national language and in English.
