Press Brake Operator – Robertsbridge Our client, a respected and growing manufacturing organisation, is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their production team. Job type: Full time, permanent Location : Robertsbridge Salary : £25,396 – £30,160 per annum Benefits : 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with each year of service; birthday leave if it falls on a working day; free sandwich van on-site twice a week Key Responsibilities: Operate the press brake safely and efficiently to produce high-quality components Perform basic maintenance checks and keep accurate machine maintenance logs Manage and record time accurately on provided timesheets Work from engineering drawings and sign off completed work as required Report any health & safety or process issues promptly to the management team Follow all ISO9001/BSEN1090 QMS processes and procedures Assist with goods in and goods out processes as needed Maintain excellent workshop housekeeping standards Operate other machinery, including the laser cutter, when required Undertake additional duties as directed by the Production Manager or Director Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience within a fabrication workshop environment Previous experience using steel machinery such as press brakes, laser machines, milling machines, or lathes (experience on press brake preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Full, valid UK driving licence essential Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work Personable team player with great communication skills Self-disciplined with excellent time management skills Our Ideal Candidate: A motivated, hands-on professional who enjoys working in a close-knit team Demonstrates alignment with values such as trust, humility, teamwork, and continuous improvement Takes pride in producing quality work and maintaining high standards of safety and precision Keen to learn, develop, and contribute to ongoing improvements across the production team How to Apply: If you are an experienced Press Brake Operator looking to join a dynamic manufacturing environment where your skills will be valued and developed, we’d love to hear from you.
