Our client, a dynamic organisation, is looking for a talented Global Payroll Manager to lead their payroll team and ensure smooth operations across multiple countries. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you!\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nAs the Global Payroll Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll operations for approximately 370 employees across various locations, including Germany, Tokyo, China, and more.
You will collaborate closely with the Finance Team and report directly to the Global Tax Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:\n\nPayroll Operations:\n\nEnsure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across all jurisdictions.\nManage payroll-related benefits such as retirement savings and health insurance.\nProcess employee changes, including new hires and departures.\nApprove BACS files for employee payments and address payroll queries.\nCoordinate with third-party payroll providers and maintain payroll files in compliance with local regulations. \n\nCompliance & Statutory Reporting:\n\nEnsure payroll compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements.\nSupport the preparation and submission of statutory reports.\nProvide legislative advice to HR and internal stakeholders.\nMaintain robust internal controls for audit readiness.
\n\nProject & Systems Management:\n\nLead the implementation of new payroll systems and enhancements.\nDrive continuous improvement in payroll processes and practises. \n\nAccounting & Financial Planning:\n\nReview monthly payroll journals and maintain a schedule of non-payroll staff costs.\nDeliver comprehensive payroll reports and assist in financial planning and budgeting. \n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nEssential Skills:\n\nStrong knowledge of payroll operations, tax regulations, and compliance in an international setting.\nProven experience in managing a payroll team in a multi-currency environment.\nExcellent organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data processing.\nFamiliarity with payroll software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
