We are seeking an experienced clinical nurse to provide health education, immunization advice, and administer vaccinations as part of our immunisation programme for women during pregnancy. This role is based at the University Hospital Derby and Burton Foundation Trust (UHDB) and involves contributing to the delivery of a high-quality public health programme.
The successful candidate will work with Screening Midwife leads to undertake assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care, focusing on health education during pregnancy, immunisations, and vaccination administration.
This position is part of the antenatal and newborn screening team and involves working across all maternity services within the Trust.
The post holder must be confident in learning to administer IM injections, recognize anaphylaxis, and administer treatment. Delivering high standards of care in partnership with clients, patients, and families in a safe and professional environment is essential.
