We are currently recruiting for a Regional Category Manager – General Services. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager Indirect & CAPEX WE Procurement, this role is vital to our strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on Western Europe.
Role Overview:
The Regional Category Manager will develop and execute sourcing strategies for General Services to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across Carlsberg entities in the region.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure supply security and cost efficiency, aligning with stakeholder needs and mapping internal/external spend.
2. Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximize value.
3. Collaborate with business functions to meet strategic targets and analyze market opportunities.
4. Ensure strategic sourcing processes are followed across the group.
5. Support local teams with information sharing and open communication.
6. Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through collaboration with global, regional, and local units.
7. Lead cross-functional projects as a commercial expert.
Experience & Attributes:
1. Experience in strategic and tactical sourcing, especially in indirect categories.
2. Knowledge of sourcing General Services for FMCG goods.
3. Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
4. Analytical mindset and results-driven approach.
5. Excellent communication and change management skills.
6. Proven contract negotiation skills.
7. Understanding of TCO principles.
