Part-time Maintenance Assistant (22 hours/week)

Located in beautiful rural Godalming, Surrey, our service actively involves its users in the local community, encouraging participation in various activities using local resources.
As a Maintenance Assistant with Leonard Cheshire, you will play a key role in maintaining the premises (internally and externally), performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure health and safety standards are met. Your duties will include decorating, furniture removal, and general repairs to facilitate the smooth and safe operation of the care home.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with upkeep and maintenance of the premises.
* Undertake routine repairs and decorating.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant previous experience.
* Understanding of workplace safety principles.
* Willingness to work flexibly according to the service needs.
* Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role.
