Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team based at the Glasgow Head Office. In this varied and hands ‑ on role, you will support managers and employees across a broad range of employee relations matters, helping to maintain best practice and a positive workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and making a real impact.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing expert advice to General Managers and employees on all employee relations matters
2. Supporting discipline, grievance and absence management cases
3. Interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures consistently across the business
4. Monitoring absence levels and analysing HR data, trends and processes
5. Supporting Health & Safety administration and record ‑ keeping
6. Delivering accurate and timely general HR administration
To be successful as an HR Advisor, you will bring:
7. Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar employee relations ‑ focused role
8. Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment practices
9. Confidence advising managers and employees on sensitive people matters
10. A methodical approach to managing absence data and HR records
11. Excellentmunication, organisational and interpersonal skills
12. A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in supporting people and continuous improvement
