About the Role
The UK Schools and Colleges Engagement team, based in the cooperate marketing directorate are recruiting a full time Schools and Colleges Engagement Officer (Development) to help deliver our Student Recruitment strategy. Primary responsibilities will include delivering high‑level, high‑quality customer service to our stakeholders and partners as well as the successful delivery of a variety of student recruitment events (including taster days, workshops, talks and presentations as some examples) to our target audiences across our campuses.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑level, high‑quality customer service to stakeholders and partners.
* Plan, organise and deliver student recruitment events such as taster days, workshops, talks and presentations.
* Develop, implement and maintain high‑quality working relationships between ARU and focused Sixth Forms and Colleges.
* Organise the logistics of on‑ and off‑campus visits.
* Collect, handle and utilise data to demonstrate impact and reasoning.
* Track events against budgets.
* Build and maintain a strong network of colleagues within ARU and externally to support successful delivery of the role.
* Demonstrate enthusiastic, proactive, innovative, creative thinking and excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Manage responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment and maintain relationships with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.
* Travel extensively to Sixth Forms and Colleges within Norfolk and Suffolk; occasional travel between campuses and occasional work outside of normal office hours.
Qualifications
* Degree, or part‑qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level, or appropriate experience.
* Highly organised with experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse backgrounds.
