Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator to work closely with the Health and Safety managers and directors you will be responsible for providing training, independent advice, guidance, and support to operational staff across contracts such as Yorkshire Water.
You will be focusing on delivering contractual agreements of the client and frontline support to operatives embedding good working practice and ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to. You will also be required to keep the safety management system updated and drive adoption of a more Human Factors based approach in support of management HSEQ engagement.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Responsible for general office duties (post, parcel, visitors)
Monitor and react to a range of data generated within the business
Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
A qualification within Health & Safety such as NEBOSH would be advantageous
Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance.
Proficient use of all Microsoft programmes
Logical and systematic thinker who enjoys working and managing detailed data.
Numerate and computer literate
