Account Manager, Amazon Business Advisory

Amazon Seller Services is a division of Amazon Inc., headquartered in Seattle, USA. It aims to help sellers grow their business by offering services that leverage Amazon's capabilities. As a Sales Associate with Amazon Seller Services India, you will deliver Amazon’s offerings in India and act as the face of Amazon to retailers. Your role involves engaging retailers throughout their lifecycle, identifying and recruiting those with competitive pricing and broad product selection, training sellers on Amazon systems, and analyzing seller performance metrics to help them succeed.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be able to work independently, influence external parties, interface with technology systems, analyze data, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. You should be comfortable executing repeatable processes and managing complex functions.


Role and Responsibilities:

* Understand Amazon products and services and communicate their benefits effectively.
* Define target seller bases and industry verticals using local knowledge.
* Identify valuable sellers and establish long-term partnerships.
* Manage seller integration and provide basic training for self-reliance.
* Monitor performance and sales of key partners to optimize their performance.


Prior Experience and Skills:

* Over 3 years of sales experience.
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
* Passion for e-commerce.
* Experience in analytical, results-oriented environments with customer interaction.
* Metrics-driven with the ability to manage business "by the numbers".
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with SME retailers is advantageous.
* Knowledge of e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media is a plus.
* Understanding of India's retail and wholesale landscape and prior interactions with sellers/distributors are desirable.
* Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is beneficial.
* Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve stretch goals.
* Fluency in the local language is desirable.
