Job Description
We are seeking a Braking Control Specialist to support the development and integration of braking control systems within advanced vehicle and machinery platforms. This role will focus on system performance, control strategy support, and collaboration across engineering teams to ensure reliable and safe braking functionality.
You will work across development and validation activities, supporting the delivery of robust braking solutions from early design stages through to production.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and refinement of braking control strategies for machine and vehicle applications.
* Work closely with systems, software, and validation teams to ensure braking performance, safety, and reliability targets are achieved.
* Assist with system integration, testing, and issue resolution during development and build phases.
* Contribute to technical reviews, requirements definition, and continuous improvement of braking system performance.
* Communicate progress, risks, and technical updates to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
* Experience working with braking systems or control functions within a vehicle or off-highway environment.
* Understanding of control systems, system integration, and validation processes.
* Strong problem-solving ability and confidence working across cross-functional engineering teams.
Required Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with electronic braking control systems and vehicle network integration.
* Familiarity with development and validation activities across prototype and production phases.
