The team
The Partnerships team plays a key role in driving iwoca's customer acquisition by delivering cutting-edge embedded finance solutions to small businesses through our powerful Lending API. Working with a diverse range of partners, from globally recognised names to dynamic micro businesses, helping them unlock new growth opportunities.
The team is a mix of commercial, technical, and analytical experts, all united to maximise value from both new and existing partnerships. This role will collaborate closely with the Head of Partnerships, playing a pivotal part in accelerating the growth of our partnerships channel and taking iwoca's impact to the next level.
Your mission
Key responsibilities include:
Analysis:
* Operational and strategic analysis: conduct bespoke analysis to solve business problems and support long term team objectives.
* Performance monitoring: identify opportunities for improvement in the customer funnel through working with our Partnership Managers to monitor the performance of individual partners.
* New partnerships: support pitching to new partners by providing relevant insights and data.
Reporting and tracking:
* Reporting infrastructure: building and maintaining reporting infrastructure used by the team and our Partners.
* Cost tracking: Track commission costs for our partners, using these to evaluate the ROI of our partners and the overall team.
Data support:
* Data knowledge: be a data champion for the team, helping our team to correctly use and interpret data, and to tackle any issues or questions that arise.
* Looker training: work with the team to level up their data skills and empower them to achieve more with our vast amounts of available data.
* Collaboration: work with other teams to identify new uses for data and to fix issues with existing data
Requirements
We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve.
Essential:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar analytical role with commercial applications.
* Highly proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and experience with a business intelligence tool (Looker is most preferable, Tableau, Power BI etc).
* Understanding of SQL.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Educated to degree level or higher.
Desired:
* Background in Mathematics or other quantitative subject.
* Experience in fintech or similar industry.
* Familiarity with DBT and Snowflake.

Salary
We expect to pay from £40,000 - £50,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
