This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Partner or Senior Employment Solicitor to join a firm with strong momentum, a progressive culture, and genuine scope to shape and develop the department.

The Role

This position will see you take a leading role in the continued growth of the Employment team, working closely with the wider leadership group to develop both the offering and client base. You’ll combine technical expertise with a commercial and strategic mindset, while mentoring and supporting a talented team around you.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
• Lead and develop the Employment team, driving its continued expansion
\n• Play an active role in business development and networking initiatives
\n• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships across a broad commercial client base
\n• Advise on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
\n• Contribute to the wider strategic direction and growth plans of the firm
\n• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, encouraging progression and development
\n\n
About You
\n\n
• Senior Employment Solicitor operating at Legal Director / Partner level
\n• Strong background in leadership, team development, and client management
\n• Commercially minded with proven business development capability
\n• Experienced across a broad spectrum of employment law matters
\n• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
\n• Based in Manchester or open to commuting into the city centre
