Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children to learn and grow. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, and social development.
* Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
* Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development and sharing updates with parents.
* Support the management team in the daily operations of the nursery, contributing to staff meetings and training sessions as required.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to nursery operations, including maintaining attendance records and managing supplies.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3).
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and staff effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
* Driving licence preferred for potential travel between locations or activities.
