Senior People and Culture Lead
Salary: £55,000-£63,000 per annum
Location: Remote (with regular regional travel) - Ideal base for this person will be Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Wiltshire, Trowbridge
Contract Type: 12-month Contract till May 2027 (possibility to stay on)

About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Senior People and Culture Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping organisational strategy, driving cultural transformation, and developing leadership capability across multiple regions.
This is a strategic and influential position ideal for someone who is passionate about organisational development, culture, workforce planning, and manager capability. You will work closely with senior leaders to translate organisational priorities into meaningful, people‑focused action.
Although the role is remote based, it will require regular travel and visibility across the Bath & Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire region. You'll be the kind of person who thrives on variety, who enjoys being out in services, and who knows that real cultural change happens when leaders are supported, present, and accountable.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Change
Develop and deliver operational plans aligned to organisational and workforce strategies.
Partner with regional leadership to drive positive cultural and organisational change.
Act as a trusted people advisor to senior leaders, influencing future strategy and decision-making.
Offer specialist expertise across organisational development, including leadership and talent development, culture, engagement, and workforce transformation.
Ensure digital-first, innovative, and future-focused approaches underpin all people initiatives.
Culture & Capability Development
Shape and deliver regional management development plans aligned to organisational goals.
Coach managers to build high-performing, inclusive, and engaged teams.
Analyse survey insights and lead on cultural improvement activity.
Equip managers to use data, KPIs, and performance insights to improve service outcomes.
Lead initiatives that build future skills, support change readiness, and enhance the employee experience.
Driving People Practice & Commercial Impact
Connect organisational strategy to regional people practice and coach managers to understand key KPIs.
Use people data to identify risks and opportunities, implementing evidence-based interventions.
Contribute to performance forecasting, cost management, and ROI evaluation for people initiatives.
Integrate wellbeing, diversity, equity, inclusion, and flexible working into all people practices.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and contribute to policy development.
