The nitty gritty of what you’ll be doing
You will be supporting the department Manager leading a small team to deliver to our guests the very best experience.
You will be responsible for ensuring the department has safety in the forefront of its mind at all times, making sure we follow the health and safety and hot tub safety policies at all times.
Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be helping to look after all our hot tubs on park. You’ll make sure that they are -
1. Working properly, drain and fill them on changeover days and test them every day, adjusting the chemicals if you need to.
2. Glistening and always in tiptop shape.
3. Well maintained and always safe for our guests to use.
And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
We’ll provide training, but ideally you would:
4. Know your way around a Hot Tub
5. Have an awareness of what clean and in working order means – which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
6. Have a friendly and helpful attitude when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
7. Have a talent for practical jobs and for troubleshooting when problems arise.
8. Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
9. Be willing to turn your hand to anything – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs and ready to help.
